Price Changes

3. Use of the Extension

Intended Use

A11y Lens is designed to scan web pages for accessibility violations using the axe-core testing engine and generate professional reports. The Extension is intended for developers, designers, QA teams, and accessibility professionals building and auditing accessible web applications.

Limitations

Automated accessibility testing tools cannot detect all accessibility issues. A11y Lens identifies common WCAG violations but does not guarantee complete accessibility compliance. Manual testing, keyboard navigation testing, and screen reader testing are still required for comprehensive accessibility audits.

6. Intellectual Property

A11y Lens, including its code, design, branding, and documentation, is owned by Romcat Labs LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. The Extension uses the open-source axe-core library, which is subject to its own license terms.

You retain ownership of any scan results, reports, or data generated by the Extension. We do not claim ownership of your content or scan data.

7. Termination

By You

You may stop using the Extension at any time by uninstalling it from your browser. You may cancel your Pro subscription as described in Section 2.

8. Updates and Changes

We may update the Extension to fix bugs, add features, or improve performance. Updates may be installed automatically via the Chrome Web Store. We may also modify these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the Extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

9. Third-Party Services

The Extension uses axe-core, an open-source accessibility testing engine developed by Deque Systems. We are not responsible for third-party services or their terms of use.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which we operate, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Extension shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
